Chicago creative Alex Wiley is taking his time with his craft and it certainly shows. On the engaging artist’s first release in months, “Very Close”, Wiley feels he’s closer than ever to reaching his lofty goals. The atmospheric instrumental provides a smooth backdrop for Wiley to weave melodic musings and witty wordplay throughout the new track. The breezy new single is the first we’ve heard from Wiley in nearly five months, but it appears the wait was worth it for this sensational new single. Alex is in a state of evolution after dropping over 100 pounds, but it appears he’s back to refocussing on music and his new project, Tangerine Dream 2 is due out before the end of the month (February 22nd).
