Durham, NC rapper Setitoff83 (of The 83 Babies) is back this week with a solo visual for his track “Life of a Gangsta.” Over a mellow instrumental with a sweet vocal sample that makes the song’s atmosphere much less ominous, but the juxtaposition of the beat compared to Setitoff’s delivery and lyrics is an interesting look at his mental state. His flows are excellent and he cycles through them easily, keeping his delivery interesting while telling his story and painting pictures of street life. I really enjoyed this video and am looking forward to more of Setitoff83’s solo work.
