Melodic hit-maker 6lack (pronounced Black) is back on the Elevator pages today with an announcement regarding his upcoming sophomore album, East Atlanta Love Letter.
6lack’s debut album Free 6lack was a beautifully layered trap symphony that wove captivating tales of trials an tribulations the young emcee faced earlier in his career. The album title seems to have taken on a new meaning in recent days as 6lack recently revealed the hardships he was forced to endure while under fellow emcee Flo Rida. Specifically, 6lack cited years of unpaid touring and uncompensated travel and rooming costs.
The past is the past, however, and 6lack’s talent has taken him to incredible new heights. As evidenced by the few, but impressive features on the tracklist he provided fans with today. Notable contributors include Future, J. Cole, and Offset.
