1TakeJay is taking the West Coast by storm. The Compton rapper released a wildly successful EP and mixtape in the past year and those two releases culminated in his Elevator exclusive visual. “Bleed ‘Em” is a bouncy, West Coast style bop complete with Jay’s addictive hook and confrontational bars, and his similes are entertaining and lyrics are cleverly witty.

AZ Chike provides a solid verse in addition to Jay. He is much more sedate than his counterpart, but his lyrics are annunciated clearly and his punchlines are violent. 1TakeJay has built a tremendous buzz in his region, and he just might take the nation by storm.
