Meek Mill has taken a metaphorical beating in the media ever since he picked a fight with Drake last year, and now he’s got The Game sending shots at his fitted.

After Meek responded to Game’s “92 Bars” diss with a remix of Young M.A.‘s “Ooouuu” featuring Omelly and Beanie Sigel, the California rapper returns with his own take on the popular instrumental—and got DAMN. When it comes to diss tracks, this is definitely been one of the better ones in terms of quality. Not in popularity or hype like the infamous “Back to Back,” but in quality of rhymes, insults and metaphors.

From the jump, Game comes with well-written lines littered with threats and insults, once again highlighting Meek as the second banana to Nicki Minaj, as well as going at rap legend Beanie Sigel, referring to him as a drug addict that should’ve been left in rehab. He goes on to call Meek out on a laundry list of bullshit, even airing out his alleged distaste towards his big boss Ricky Rozay.

Plain and simple, this joint hits on every cylinder—from the cleverness of his bars to the truth behind them, this is a hella potent and well-crafted diss from The Game. Diss tracks are essentially like battle raps, and so far he is absolutely crushing Meek Mill (not to mention handling Beanie with bars and Omelly with a choice clip of his Sway freestyle)—and the hip-hop world is responding.

He’s always been a tremendous rapper, but he’s hitting a peak at the right time with his album right around the corner. Granted, part of the motive behind this whole thing is more than likely to bolster the hype of the project, but regardless of the intention, The Game is flat bullying Meek at this point and doing so in style.

Keep it locked for more updates on the beef between these two.
