On April 25th, 03 Greedo let off a series of heartbreaking tweets leading fans to believe that the Los Angeles rapper hadn’t caught a break in the sentencing of his current court case. Unfortunately the rumors remain true, as Jeff Weiss broke the news of Greedo’s harsh sentence: 20 years in a Texas prison.

The initial arrest stemmed from a traffic stop in 2016, during which law enforcement found four pounds of methamphetamine and two stolen pistols in the trunk of Greedo’s vehicle.

Greedo could be out in as early as five years, depending on his behavior behind bars. He also plans to continue releasing music while incarcerated, as over 600 songs remain in a vault of unreleased material.
